What is a Piper Warrior?

As the most popular aircraft in the Sanford Air fleet, it makes sense to have two of these versatile aircraft. As, essentially, an overgrown Cherokee 140, the Warrior II boasts the new, more efficient, wing and a Lycoming 160 horsepower engine.

It's nimble handing, superb visibility and comfortable front seats make this a real pilots airplane. Coupled with full IFR capability, and you've got two great airplanes.

The avionics stacks in each aircraft (they're identical) include:

• Four Place Intercom
• Dual-Push to Talk
• Dual Nav/Coms (one with glideslope).
• ADF
• VFR only LORAN
